Couple of thoughts

Yestarday I was travelling by the train. Actually i love travelling, especially when i'm alone and there're people whom i don't know in my box. It happens all the time that during such trips after couple of hours, travelling together, people start telling their life stories. This part i enjoy the most! This time it was the same. I listened to 6 different stories, it happened, that most of the travellers were working abroad and earning money by serving, cleaning etc. All of them were woriking hardly and looked so tired. Then i bought a magazine with news, political analysis, and all mentioned events were so unhappy in Ukraine: Dnipropetrovsk and Odessa are not towns for EURO 2012 anymore, unclear situation with budget, cutting money for education by ukrainian government. I couldn't stop thinking about all of this.
How come after 20 years we have the same problems? Why can't we change anything??? What is that miracle/superman that Ukraine needs??? Why everything is so in mess in our country??? Why people that govern it, are not devoted and don't care????
Then i remembered a quote:

"I saw many problems and I asked myself, why somebody do nothing about them...
Then I realized - I was somebody"

Happy that being in AIESEC i can influence the state of affairs in my country. Though sometimes they are invisible and too small, but each step and each action can bring the result at the end. I truly believe in this.
